got this song from yongxi who loves judymary to bits - and though i dont listen to these kind of songs, it has sort of grown on me. =)
school's just finishing its 3rd week - its kind of amazing how fast its going now. i dont know if i like feeling busy, or sometimes id just like to lie in bed in hall (esp in the mornings). So many things have happened in the past two weeks that now that I'm back in my room alone - I feel a sense of relief sort of wash over me. finally i can lean back, relax, and think about the things im about to do.
and ive always loved the lyrics on this corrinne may song:

belated 1408 celebration today! Yay we had crabbbbb. two years, it's been, and frankly, im amazed. time passes too fast when you're having fun, and two years before, andy and i probably never imagined where we'd be two years after, where we are now. and we'll never know what the next two years will bring us, but it will definitely have ups and downs, and also leaving behind amazing memories =)
The Sound of Music
julie andrews has a beautiful wonderful voice; ill never tire of it. =) just felt like rewatching the sound of music, because i finally went to catch Up the movie, and Christopher Plummer was in it. yes, qii, it was a good movie, make me half-tear at certain parts. =) love Christopher Plummer, he was probably every young girl's dream when they watch the sound of music. haha.
oh love the whole vintage feel of this photo, and he really captures the whole suave, sexy feel really well. love the suit! we should get guys nowadays to wear suits more often, it really carries well. >_<
and i learnt that Captain Georg von Trapp is pronounced "GAY-ork" von Trapp, which simply amazes me. suddenly adds bonus points to the name. been hearing Uncle Max (in the Sound of Music) seemingly calling him "Gaylord", when i finally decided to check. I like a lot. haha.
Mariner Moose
The Mariners' mascot, Moose, always manages to crack me up when I catch a glimpse of him during a game running up and down, psyching the crowd up. haha. Love him!

gerry bertier (ryan hurst) and julius campbell (wood harris) sharing a mama joke in the locker room in remember the titans - super funny!
[remember the titans] was a typical great disney sports movie - the team that came together, overcame all odds to narrowly win a championship game or an important game in history. the fact that these movies were all inspired by real life events make it good - but when you realise 'inspired' meant taking great liberties with reality, you sort of check your emotions a little bit.
but why i watched remember the titans again and again was because of the screenplay - loved julius campbell's speech to gerry bertier when gerry was lying in hospital. and surprisingly ryan hurst is amazingly attractive in this film - he's not really known to be good-looking, i think. and ryan gosling was in the film too - still looking like young hercules at tt time, thankfully.
and so ive been hooked on sports movies for a bit now - it started with baseball i think, basketball (Glory Road), then american football and of course ice hockey with Miracle. and now i cnt wait for the american football season to start because i realise i understand the game now! and it actually is quite fun. i used to laugh at the game - not understanding why everyone just kept tackling everyone else. >_<

school's starting in a little bit - and i look absolutely atrocious after coming back from camp. really ten shades darker and a hoarse voice to boot. im kind of glad ivy postponed the interview today cause my voice is horrible. but camp was fun, and HAEDUS was a great group! photos are on facebook but i kind of beg people not to go see cause i look really really black and kinda like pocahontas chief-ish.
PS Ichiro's reaction when he hit the walkoff single to win that Mariners game July 28th was epic - something im glad i got mlb.tv for!
